"guys" tonight untill Friday

The girls of Feed A Model are decorating GUY'S tonight through Friday for "Art Bazel Extended". We will be showing a few of our bigger peices, including my "Hotel California" peice. which is about 6.5 feet by 8 feet.....HUGE! Come check it out, and party with us tonight and on friday! GUYS is located on beverly blvd between san vicente and Robertson blvd....... and check back for photos of tonights party! Meet us out....we will be at Guys...then of coarse over to ecco. A truck load of paintings,on our way to set up at ECCO for the art show. We are in a big white truck, on hollywood blv. The Truck is stuffed and jammed packed with artwork....Do u see us???????

Oct 21, 2008 update

So, i have been slacking on the blogging....big time! here is the cliff notes update: Sunday Izzi, Michelle, and I (along with my 2 dogs Boo and Princess) did the AIDS Walk. We actually cheated because the walk went right by Izzi's place, so we joined at that point. but STILL it wasn't that much of a cheat....just by like 2 miles or so. Yesterday Izzi and I went to dinner at a place called "Cafe Bizou" in sherman oaks, this place is so good. Usually french cuisine is hard to choose, but thie menu there is a large variety of picks. today.....the dentist for me...yuck!!!!!

To chop or not chop my hair...

Lissa is currently AT A casting CONTEMPLATING something heavy. The client is offering to pay $3k for a hair ad model. She passed 2 rounds (which is good), but come to find out that they want to chop her hair S-H-O-R-T. Personal dilemma! Yes, hair grows back... but how much will it affect her modeling career as she's waiting for it to grow?!?

Instead of partying...

Lissa is staying in on a Saturday night and watching the Trojans kick ass in the USC vs Oregon football game and some Elite XC/mixed martial arts fighting... Wow, there's a lot of good fights tonight with brutality running high in the cage! Whats up with Shamrock not fighting Kimbo Slice tonight because of sissy scratch during warm-up?!? That's BS!!!

Feed a model- Party at Standard Hotel - Hollywood

September 21st the models from feedamodel.com partied & showcased their newest paintings , as well as the hot new accessories they are making such as leather and chain braided charm bracelets & rhinestones bandanas, at the Standard Hotel on sunset blvd.
Some of the models that showed up at the event were: Apple Price, Izzi Stalder, Michelle Easter, Lissa, Stella, and much of their clique. The party was a success, and sooooo much fun! The Models lounged around looking totally fabulous in retro inspired swimsuits, sponsored by Kush Cush. At the party, you would have seen the "most beautiful" people of LA, models painting mini paintings, models painting each others nails, a hard core ping pong tournament, & refreshing cocktails full of color! Hollywood Life Magazines were just an arms length away, and Since the magazine was also sponsoring the event....there will be "evidence" of the party in their next issue....hope no one acted too craaazyyy :).

Lissa in a video game!

Lissa delivered punches and kicked serious Zombie ass over the weekend, both in an outdoor setting and in front of a blue screen! The Japanese video game, which will be released in the USA early next year (for XBox, play station and Nintendo Wii) features sexy Asian girls that each play a different fetish role, while slaying zombies... (because, of course thats the only way to kill zombies. lol) For example there is a cop, a cowgirl, a school girl and a bikini girl... now guess which character lissa played?

trip to Texas

so..... explanation for the wierd photos ...... there was hurricane ike coming through texas right? well u have heard of being prepared right??? but i bet not THIS prepared....(my mom is the weather woman.....not!) she brings over life jackets, canned goods, and even arm floaties for my sister's dogs (max and mya.....aren't they cute?) well today the weather in dallas is sunny and beautiful.....yaay! hmmmm what to do with all the flood gear????? but all in all, i went for my sister jackie, and mark's anniversary party which was very successfull and fun.b congrats to jackie and mark....the worlds most frabulous couple. they get 5 stars out of 5. Right now, as u can tell, i am super board at the airport.....bla bla bla. see u in LA :)

Today I started building the clothesline that we're going to use to display our paintings for our next event! The party at the Ritz was so good that we decided to do another pool party before it gets "cold" here in LA. This time we're going to be at the pool at The Standard hotel in Hollywood. Hopefully I'll be done with this little project by the end of tomorrow? :)

FeedAModel Shows at Thread Lux @ Smashbox Studios

Yesterday, Feed A Model was back out in Hollywood at Smashbox Studios showing our art at a huge fashion art and music expo! It was sponsored by LA Weekly, Urb Magazine, Hint Magazine, Smashbox, and a bunch of others. It was a day full of creat​ivity​.​​ We set up a booth and people loved the Feed A Model idea, and the press loved us, too! We will post press pictures when we get them this week.
